Woman rescued after falling into Box Canyon

GOODING COUNTY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Magic Valley emergency responders saved a woman in her 60s who fell into Box Canyon while hiking on Saturday.

Gooding County Sheriff Shaun Gough said about 2 p.m. that five women from Boise were hiking when one of the women tripped and fell about 30 feet to the bottom of the canyon.

The woman is in a stable condition, and paramedics transported her to a hospital by ambulance…
