Multiple apartments damaged in NE Albuquerque fire

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Multiple people were displaced Saturday night after a northeast Albuquerque apartment fire. Earlier in the day, Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) responded to a fire at the Academy Heights Apartments on the corner of Academy and Wyoming.

Crews arrived at the building where an exterior fire had spread up the roof. No injuries were reported, but six apartments were damaged, leaving occupants displaced. Fire investigations are still looking into the cause.
