Larchmont Teen Charged in Assault Near MHS

It was an uneven fight between a 15 year-old Mamaroneck High School student and much older school-mate Friday. Mamaroneck Police say the young sophomore had “multiple lacerations, bruises and pattern injuries” indicating he’d been choked with the necklace he was wearing.

The incident began late morning on Richbell Road near the north entrance to the sprawling MHS campus with a dispute “of a personal nature” that “went too far” according to our source. MHS is an open campus. Both students returned to school after the encounter but police were notified by the younger student’s mother of the injuries to her son. He was transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.

Mamaroneck Village Police were able to identify the older student as an 18 year-old senior and arrested him as he left school. He is a Larchmont resident charged with second degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing and blood circulation…
