MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Police, firefighters and faith leaders in Moncks Corner are coming together Saturday for a community prayer walk and engagement day aimed at strengthening relationships between first responders and residents.
The event is being organized in partnership with Grace R.E. Church and will bring members of the Moncks Corner Police Department and Moncks Corner Fire Department into the community to meet residents outside of emergency situations.
The event will take place Saturday, March 14 at 212 Cooper St. in Moncks Corner. Organizers say the prayer walk will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a community engagement event at noon that will include free food and opportunities for residents to meet local first responders…
