Bomb squad called after grenade found in local veteran’s home

BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) – A startling discovery inside a gun safe prompted the Butler County Bomb Squad to respond to a home in Fairfield after family members found a hand grenade.

The family found the grenade while cleaning out the residence of a Korean War veteran who had recently died.
