FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A frightening situation outside of a Michigan synagogue is raising concerns in Jewish communities across the country.
Authorities in Detroit said an armed man rammed his car into a synagogue before killing himself. The attack may have happened thousands of miles away, but for Fresno’s Jewish community leaders, it hits close to home.
“We’ve been following the news, especially since one of our classmates from rabbinic training is one of the rabbis on campus there,” Rabbi Rick Winer with Temple Beth Israel said…
