Crash in West Knox County damages utility pole, crews working to restore power

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Crews are working to restore power after a crash caused damages to a utility pole in West Knox County early Saturday morning.

Around 6:30 a.m., Lenoir City Utilities Board reported that an outage in the area of Kingston Pike and Perimeter Park Road had been caused by a crash. The utility provider said both supervisors and crews were on the scene, and power would be restored as soon as possible.

LCUB shared a photo of the impacted area, which appears to show a utility pole that supported power lines broken into multiple pieces.
