Heartbreak for Broncos as Western loses lead, game in overtime to Denver

DENVER, Colo. — Western Michigan dropped an overtime thriller, 2-1, to Denver on Saturday night at Magness Arena.

Bobby Cowan was the lone Bronco to light the lamp, while Hampton Slukynsky made 30 saves in net. Tyler MacKenzie and Garrett Szydlowski picked up assists in the contest.
