Proposed Tennessee ankle monitor law could cost more than $1 million a year

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Concerns are growing over how much a Tennessee bill requiring some suspects to wear ankle monitors while out on bond could cost.

The proposal would expand GPS monitoring to include those accused of crimes such as murder, firearm offenses and drag racing.
