Crash on Blue Angel Parkway in Escambia County injures 2 people

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Two people were injured Thursday in a crash on South Blue Angel Parkway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to an FHP news release, the crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. when a Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling north on State Road 173/South Blue Angel Parkway, approaching Sorrento Road/State Road 292.

At the same time, a Toyota Camry was traveling east on South Blue Angel Parkway, crossing the median while turning left out of the Walmart service road, according to FHP.

After crossing the median, the front of the Camry hit the left side of the Santa Fe, spinning the Santa Fe until it ended up facing south in the northbound inside lane of Blue Angel Parkway, the crash report said…
