It usually happens behind the wheel, but one Mercedes-Benz owner recently found himself in danger underneath his vehicle. While attempting to check out a possible issue at an auto parts store, his jack failed, and the SUV fell on him. Thanks to one officer’s quick action, the owner survived and avoided life-threatening injury.
Police in Webster, Massachusetts, say officers, firefighters, and EMS crews rushed to an Advanced Auto Parts on East Main Street on February 17 after someone reported that a man had become trapped under a vehicle. Video from a police bodycam shows the moment when the very first officer, Nicholas Caruso, arrived on scene.
