Cedar Rapids, Iowa – Travel across eastern Iowa could become nearly impossible by late Sunday afternoon as powerful winds turn moderate snowfall into widespread whiteout conditions.
According to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities, a Blizzard Warning remains in effect from 4 p.m. Sunday until 1 p.m. Monday for much of eastern Iowa.
