BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Fire Department (BRFD) responded to a commercial building fire at an auto repair shop early Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called around 8:37 a.m. on March 14 to the 9100 block of South Choctaw Drive. When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the building and a vehicle inside the shop fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters entered the building and extinguished the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to the rest of the structure. Several other vehicles near the burning vehicle sustained heat damage, BRFD said…
