BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A Bossier City man who crashed his motorcycle in southwest Shreveport almost four years ago, killing his passenger wife, was convicted of vehicular homicide Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in Caddo District Court.

A jury has found 61-year-old Steven Rubey guilty for his role in a tragic motorcycle incident that caused the death of his wife, Tammy Lynn Rubey, who was 52 years old.
The jury reached their decision after 45 minutes of deliberation in District Judge Donald E. Hathaway Jr.’s court.
