Assault at Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital
The first emergency unfolded Saturday in the 3400 block of South 19th Street on the campus of Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital. Responders found an adult woman with life-threatening injuries, started life-saving measures at the scene and then transported her to a hospital for further treatment.
An adult man at the hospital was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault and taken into custody. Those details were reported by The News Tribune.

Early Sunday, officers were called to the 2000 block of 96th Street South for a second, unrelated emergency. They arrived to find an adult man suffering from serious injuries consistent with a shooting. Tacoma Fire crews again delivered life-saving care on scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital.
