HONOLULU (KHON2) — A man is dead following a single motor vehicle collision in the Makiki area early Sunday morning.
Motorcycle crash on Kalanianaole Highway claims life of man, 39
On March 15, around 4:18 a.m., a 63-year-old man was driving on the H-1 Freeway when his car hit the center median and lost control, causing him to collide with the wall of the Vineyard off-ramp, the Honolulu Police Department said.
The man was transported to the hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries and died, authorities reported.
HPD said the driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and it appears speed is not a contributing factor. It is still undetermined if drugs or alcohol were involved…
