A Ravenna elementary school that closed in 2025 will be reopening in August as a tuition-free public charter school for students from kindergarten to fifth grade.
Portage Leadership Academy recently began enrolling students for the 2026-27 school year. The school will operate in the former West Park Elementary School at 1071 Jones Road.
