BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — A taste of summer is set to arrive in late winter over the coming days as a new ridge approaches the State.
It is this ridge of high pressure that will contribute to Kern County’s turn to get real warm. Afternoon highs moving into the 90s are likely across much of our area outside of the mountains.
Record high temperatures are possible for Bakersfield during the new week, and if the thermometer reaches higher than 94 at Meadows Field, an all-time new record high for the MONTH would be set.
For now: enjoy the still comfortable conditions and make sure your air conditioners are in working order ASAP!…
