A high-speed crash involving a Corvette turned deadly in Virginia, leaving two people dead after the sports car veered off the road and struck a tree.
In Nokesville, police say Kristopher McCandless, 61, of Nokesville, and Jessica Preast, 45, of Charleston, West Virginia, were killed when the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette they were in crashed Saturday afternoon.
