Iran-linked cyberattack targets company with a Homewood office causing global disruptions

On Wednesday, March 11, Stryker, a U.S.-based medical technology company with an office in Homewood, experienced an Iran-linked cybersecurity attack causing global disruptions.

An Iranian hacking group called Handala claimed responsibility for the cyberattack in retaliation for a military strike on an Iranian elementary school that killed more than a hundred people, according to reports from Time magazine.
