CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — We are tracking a potential severe weather system moving towards the Charlotte area that could bring thunderstorms, possible tornadoes and damaging winds Monday morning.
There is growing potential for strong, severe storms with the region currently under an Enhanced Risk for severe weather. These potential storms may bring damaging winds and possible spin-up tornadoes, being the greatest concern.
Due to the forecast, local school districts are adjusting their schedules for Monday, March. 16:
