OAK GROVE, Ky. (WKRN) — A Southern Kentucky man and a Middle Tennessee woman were taken into custody following an alleged attempt to steal the man’s vehicle from a towing service early Saturday morning.
According to the Oak Grove Police Department, officers were notified by Riddle’s Towing about an attempted break-in at one of its buildings at approximately 2 a.m. on Saturday, March 14. When law enforcement arrived in the area, they detained 20-year-old Alec Parmley, of Oak Grove, and 22-year-old Cheyenne Helton, of Clarksville.
During the investigation, authorities said they determined Parmley’s vehicle had been towed by Riddle’s and secured within the company’s fenced lot. Parmley reportedly arrived at the business around 2 a.m. and scaled the fence, but he wasn’t able to start the vehicle, so he tried to gain entry to the main office…
