WEST LEALMAN, Fla. A Pinellas County man is facing a felony animal cruelty charge after deputies say he beat his dog to death for entering a room she was not allowed in, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

The backstory:

Deputies responded to the West Lealman area shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday to a reported verbal domestic disturbance at a home in the 5200 block of 78th Street North, PCSO said.
