Humans are circling the moon again and Cleveland engineers are helping make it happen

CLEVELAND, Ohio – If space flight seems to have lost its luster, jaded Earthlings take note. NASA and its Cleveland contingent are returning to an old haunt with human cargo on board.

For the first time in more than 50 years, the U.S. space agency is sending a crewed spacecraft around the moon. Blast-off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, has been twice delayed this year, but it’s now scheduled for early April.

Four astronauts – three Americans and a Canadian – are slated to embark on the 10-day Artemis II mission. Depending on the day of departure, and orbital alignments at the time, it could take them farther into space than anyone has gone before…
