A judge has taken under advisement the request for the release of a Wildwood woman charged with luring a shooting victim to an ambush with promises of sexual favors.
Gracie Madison Lemke, 23, of Wildwood, made her case for release this past week in Sumter County Court. The judge did not make an immediate decision, but is considering Lemke’s request.
Lemke was originally arrested in 2023 after the shooting victim had been lured to 4141 County Road 510 in Adamsville by Lemke, who contacted him through Facebook Messenger, according to the original arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. She had promised him “sexual favors.” The alleged triggerman was 27-year-old Joshua Timmons, who was living with Lemke at the time the man was shot at a location just outside the Village of Marsh Bend.
Lemke is facing charges including attempted second-degree murder with a weapon. Timmons is also awaiting trial in the case…
