ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The FIRST Robotics Finger Lakes Regional concluded its second day of competition on Saturday.
The For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) organization is known for supporting robotics programs across the United States, providing students in kindergarten through high school with a community to explore STEM. FIRST competitions and programs are built to encourage youth to go beyond the classroom and use skills such as design strategy, technology, teamwork, and engineering to create functional robots.
