Versatile athlete Marquis Fennell takes in FSU’s practice and locks in another return visit, before his OV

TALLAHASSEE — Valdosta (Ga.) three-star offensive athlete Marquis Fennell made his way to Florida State on Friday to check out their padded practice. Fennell, who was most recently at FSU for a Junior Day in January, returned specifically to focus on the practice.

“See how they’re coming this upcoming year and how Coach Norvell is fixing to set up a successful season,” Fennell said of what he was looking for.

Fennell can play running back. He can play wide receiver. He is the definition of an offensive athlete and an impact player. As a junior, he had 1,480 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns on 8.2 yards per carry. He also had 53 receptions for 764 yards and 10 more touchdowns. He is also an impact player on special teams.
