NEW FRANKEN – A school bus carrying children to Luxemburg-Casco Intermediate School was blown into a ditch by strong winds on Delcore Rd. on Wednesday morning, according to an email sent to parents by the school district. Police report some children were taken to the hospital, but they believe the injuries were minor.
According to a release from the district, “All other students have been transported to the Intermediate School, where they will meet with guidance counselors to process the accident and decompress prior to going to class. If parents/guardians would prefer to pick up their child, please report to the Intermediate School. The safety of our students is our highest priority. The Luxemburg-Casco School District takes any incident involving student transportation very seriously and will work closely with the appropriate authorities to review what occurred and ensure the continued safety of all students.”…
