Cherokee Nation hosts at-large gathering in Kansas City

The Cherokee Nation held a gathering with at-large Cherokee citizens in Kansas City. A total of 977 attendees came together to celebrate Cherokee culture and hear updates from Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr.. During the event, 345 Tribal ID Photo citizenship cards were issued, 155 new citizen applications were submitted, 69 voters registered for state or tribal elections, and 47 new members joined the Kansas City Cherokee Community Organization.

Leaders including Deputy Principal Chief Bryan Warner, First Daughter Jasmine Hoskin, Secretary of State Shella Bowlin, Chief of Staff Dr. Corey Bunch, Marshal Daniel Mead, and At-large Councilor Johnny Jack Kidwell attended, along with Miss Cherokee Hannah Neugin and Jr. Miss Cherokee Reese Henson
