Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) – The names of three finalists for Albuquerque Police Chief were announced by APD Friday. Among the finalists is current APD Interim Chief Cecily Barker.
The other two finalists are, Dallas Area Rapid Transit or DART, Assistant Police Chief for Field Operations Gilberto Garza and Perry Tarrant, a former Assistant Police Chief in Seattle. APD had announced that 19 candidates had applied for the position and seven were interviewed.
Garza, spend over 25 years with the Dallas Police Department before moving to DART. DART is not part of the Dallas Police Department as it operates as its own department…
