For the Lady Blue it was a bitter sweet ending to a great game that went three tight quarters and then a uhhh ohhh quarter that allowed the Lady Longhorns to take the lead and finally the win for the 2026 Class A State Championship game in the Pit on the UNM campus in Albuquerque New Mexico.
Roy/Mosquero and Logan had met earlier in the season with Logan taking both games so the Lady Blue were looking for the win. Head Coach Blair Clavel noted before the game that his bench was not as deep as the Logan bench and that his concern was making four quarters and not running out of steam or getting into foul trouble…
