Restaurant chain to open at least 6 new locations in Upstate NY; Auburn next?

A popular restaurant chain will open at least six new locations in Upstate New York over the next three years.

Chick-fil-A announced plans to open locally-owned and operated restaurants in Albany, Johnson City, Latham, Penfield, Vestal and Victor by the end of 2029. The company said it will create more than 600 jobs and donate $150,000 to local food banks in celebration of the openings.

According to a press release, the Penfield and Victor restaurants will open this year. WROC reports one will be in the former Gymnastics Training Center on Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, and the other will be near Eastview Mall outside of Rochester…
