Two men were killed in a head-on collision on Highway 46 east of Lost Hills early Saturday morning.
The California Highway Patrol said a 20-year-old male from Wasco was driving a 2011 Toyota Corolla eastbound on State Route 46 east of Corcoran Road. A 30-year-old male from Paso Robles, was driving a 2024 Toyota Prius westbound on State Route 46, approaching the Toyota Corolla.
“For reasons still under investigation, the driver of the Toyota Corolla traveled over the painted center dividing lines of State Route 46 into the westbound lane and directly into the path of the Toyota Prius. The Toyota Corolla continued eastbound in the westbound lane until the Toyota Corolla and the Toyota Prius collided head-on,” the CHP said in a news release…
