The exploration of Buckingham Cave featured in a recent episode of Discovery Channel’s Expedition Unknown yielded two new discoveries related to the infamous Doan Gang, a group of loyalists active during the Revolutionary War, writes Katherine Cressman for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Clint Flack, an exhibit specialist from Bucks County Historical Society, led the excavation. Flack grew up hearing stories about the Doan Gang. In 2019, he was finally granted access to Frank Lamitina’s property in Bucks County where the cave is located. Since then, the two men have worked together on uncovering it, filmed the Expedition Unknown episode, and maintaining the surrounding area…
