The incident began when an Elizabethtown police officer spotted a dark-colored Ford F-150 driving west on West High Street without its headlights or taillights illuminated, according to a release.
The officer also observed the pickup being driven erratically with a significant amount of smoke or steam coming from the vehicle at about 1:59 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, authorities said.
