ALABAMA — Several schools, government offices and institutions across southeast Alabama have announced delayed openings for Monday, March 16, as severe weather is expected to move through the region.
Multiple school districts will operate on a two-hour delay, including Dothan City Schools, Houston County Schools, Daleville City Schools, Geneva City Schools, Geneva County Schools, and Enterprise City Schools.
Under the delayed schedule, Dothan City Schools will begin classes later than usual. Elementary schools will start at 9:40 a.m., while other schools such as Dothan High School and Dothan Tech will begin around 10:15 a.m. School buses will run normal routes but two hours later than usual…
