An increased number of affordable apartments in La Mesa are causing parking headaches near the city’s downtown village district.
New developments have raised concerns that a parking problem has become a parking crisis reports the Union-Tribune.
One new complex that will open next year on Palm Avenue will have over 100 units, but only 70 designated parking spaces. The city says in needs more parking to attract more visitors to the village area.
