Power outage leaves hundreds without electricity for days in Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Residents across Toledo remained without power as of early Sunday evening, according to Toledo Edison, after an outage that began Friday.

Mark Calzonetti, who lives on Hargo Road, said his street had been without power for close to two days.

“My main concern was my food and then also the heat, so I went and I bought a lot of firewood,” Calzonetti said.

Calzonetti said a generator he already owned experienced issues after the power first went out Friday, prompting him to purchase a new one. He said the replacement was costly but felt the purchase was necessary…
