MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – What started as a St. Patrick’s Day parade outside Uptown Snug turned into a wedding for one Marion couple Saturday afternoon.
Organizers added a new element to the annual Wee Parade this year: a free wedding, with all ceremony expenses covered, for one couple. Eighteen couples entered a Facebook contest for the chance to have their wedding included in the parade.
Kilpatricks win the contest
Keenan and Sydney Kilpatrick were selected as the winning couple.
