Mississippi – A sharp northwest wind sweeps across central Mississippi this morning, bending tree branches and pushing cool air into the Jackson metro. Drivers heading out early may notice brisk wind chills and scattered sprinkles before skies begin clearing later in the day.
According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, a Wind Advisory remains in effect until noon across central Mississippi. Northwest winds between 15 and 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph could make travel difficult for high-profile vehicles and may blow around unsecured outdoor objects…
