LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Fire and Rescue identified the man killed in Thursday’s northeast Lincoln apartment fire as 73-year-old Douglas Kroese.
Lincoln Fire and Rescue said the fire was reported at North 52nd Street and Leighton Avenue at 3:49 p.m. Several people were initially trapped, prompting crews to upgrade to a second alarm.
