CHICAGO — Two people were killed in a two-car crash on the Kennedy Expressway overnight, prompting all southbound lanes to be closed for several hours early Sunday morning.
According to Illinois State Police, a car was stopped in traffic for unknown reasons on I-90 southbound near Randolph Street in Chicago, when it was hit by another car going the same direction around 1:45 a.m.
ISP says five people, four from the stopped car and one from the car that hit it, were taken to area hospitals with injuries. Two of them were later pronounced dead…
