A joint law enforcement operation in Salem, Oregon resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of drugs, firearms and other illegal items, authorities said.
According to the Salem Police Department, officers worked with the U.S. Marshals Service to carry out a search warrant Thursday at a residence on Front Street Northeast.
Fugitives targeted in operation
Officials said federal marshals were in Salem to locate two individuals wanted for parole violations in Deschutes County, Oregon: Christopher Fought and Ila Huff.
During the search, investigators discovered suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, firearms and body armor, along with other drug-related items.
Additional arrests made
Authorities also arrested three additional individuals who had outstanding warrants:
- Christopher Snyder, wanted for a parole violation in Douglas County, Oregon
- Victoria Hernandez, sought in Linn County, Oregon on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm
- Kayla Rose, wanted in Benton County, Oregon for failing to appear in court on a fourth-degree assault charge
Police said detectives became involved in the search after firearms and drug paraphernalia were discovered during the operation.
