Buffalo residents weigh in on city possibly overriding property tax cap

The city of Buffalo hosted a public hearing Monday on possibly overriding the 2% state property tax cap.

Last month, Buffalo Common Council unanimously approved a local law that would allow the city to override the state property tax cap of 2%. However, before it can be signed into law, a public hearing must be held.
