COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Franklin County judge set bond at $250,000 for the man charged in connection to a crash that killed two people in Columbus over the weekend.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were traveling on Cleveland Avenue near East 26th Avenue on Saturday afternoon when they saw a red Toyota Prius traveling south on Cleveland.
The officers noted the vehicle had an alert placed on it for being connected to a shooting on March 10 in the 900 block of Eton Grove in the Mount Vernon neighborhood, that resulted in a residence and vehicles being struck by gunfire. During the investigation, detectives identified a 17-year-old boy as being involved in the shooting.
