Man accused in Ponte Vedra double murder went to Walgreens to ‘confront girlfriend’ over infidelity: report

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – New details have emerged in Friday night’s double homicide at a Ponte Vedra Walgreens, as arrest documents reveal the man accused allegedly confronted his girlfriend and another man over suspected infidelity before the shooting.

According to the arrest warrant from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, Christian Barrios, 32, went to the Walgreens along A1A on Friday night to confront his girlfriend and a man he believed she was in a relationship with.

The report said Barrios “immediately and frantically jumped out of their car and began walking” toward the woman and the man before multiple gunshots were heard…
