The storm happened at 3:50 p.m. and destroyed dozens of self-storage units at 1400 Warner Drive. It also ripped off part of the roof at the adjacent Menards home-improvement store and punched a hole in the side of the building. Additionally, hundreds of other structures were affected in a 2-mile span, debris was scattered across the area, and trees and power lines were downed. Ten people were injured in Three Rivers.
