Lancaster city man facing up to 28 years for 2024 shooting: DA

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Lancaster city man has been sentenced to between 14 and 28 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to shooting a man.

The district attorney’s office said Miguel Camacho, Jr. shot a 39-year-old man in his leg in 2024, leaving him with a permanent limp and pain in the soles of his feet.

The victim said Camacho came onto him while he was on his way home from buying candy, and shot him as he was running away…
