WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – A Winter Haven neighborhood turned into a crime scene early Monday morning after a homeowner’s security system caught three teenagers allegedly trying to break into cars. The incident, which unfolded on Fish Hawk Drive, ended with three juveniles in custody after a short search by local officers.
The situation began at 1:37 a.m. on March 15, 2026, when a resident was woken up by an alert from his surveillance cameras. Upon checking the live feed, the man saw three people in his driveway pulling on the door handles of his two vehicles. He immediately dialed 9-1-1.
