Myrtle Beach assault victim dies, U.S. Marshals task force arrests suspect

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Federal authorities arrested a man charged with murder following a Saturday assault in a neighborhood with a history of violence.

Corey Anthony Stephens, 43, was arrested Monday afternoon by members of a U.S. Marshals Service regional task force, officials told News13. He was wanted in connection with an attack that happened at 541 Ramsey Drive around 6 a.m.
